I had just returned from lunch to the bank in Lubbock, Texas where I worked. Another teller told me that President Kennedy was shot. Did not know yet if he was wounded or dead. Didn't take long after his death confirmation for the inappropriate jokes, about Jack in a box, etc.,to start circulating. Really sad day and sad situation that some people have such poor taste as to try to make fun of something like this.
