I concluded it was like the old 'Napster' program. It's a tough call. He was offered a settlement of 'I think' $1600, lower than most I saw on the internet. I think he would use up $1600 or more for lawyers pretty fast. Hmmmmm Dunno

Looks like a pretty good scam if you can buy/own a copyright! This is the first time I have ever heard of it, but it seems to have been going on for some time in other states. The flood of suits and dismissals is not making the judges very happy (using the court system as a collection agency so to speak)
