for myself, the contests I run (Sudden Death and Amazing Race), I ask the winner to inform me of any chippers whom they have not receive chips from after 2 weeks ... and that I would contact the chipper on their behalf.

And this has worked well. And always, all winners of my contests receive their prize from their fellow chippers without a problem.

Chippers are some of the very best people involved in any hobby.
