What you are missing here is that condition isn't the most important thing in this hobby. If it were, then slabbing might be a good thing. Take a look at any of hundreds of collectors trade and sale list. Take a look at any of the dealers lists of chips for sale. It is the RARE one that even mentions condition unless the chip happens to be new or extremely worn. Take a look at the many fine reference works on the subject. Only one that I know of lists different values for different conditions. It just isn't an issue in our hobby and luckily won't be unless the SLABBERS are successful in making it one.
