~~~ who donates items/collections to the museum publishing (make publicly known to membership; announce) their gifts... even if just on loan...?

One other question brought up in some private emails concerning the museum and gifts: Will some duplicate donations be sold off and will any gifts; portions of gifts, be sold in order to help fund the museum... and, will the museum consider to publish any item(s) donated, but decided not to be put on display.

My reason for askng this is because I've donated chips/plaques/jetons and other items to museums, historical societies and displays at casinos over the years both here in the USA and Europe without knowing exactly what was going to be exhibited even though detailed letters of gift were received... Maybe I'm just too curious; I don't know.
