I have read on this board, at least a dozen times.
The slabbers will never slab LE's and cheaper chips.

At the PS show, they had several cheap chips slabbed and
"OH NO"
two LE's were slabbed.
One was a $25 FQ's Oscar Goodman chip and the other was a Carsars George Burns $100. The Burns chip was rated MS63. I did not notice what Oscar was rated at but in my book Oscar is at least a MS999999999999999999999999999999999.

The ratings go from Poor 1 to MS70. They also have AU, fine, and Very fine somewhere in the middle.
All NV chips have TCR number on the slab.

Marv, Ralph, or Andy is going to scan the IGC rating sheet to the BB.
They are also going to scan a sheet that tells you all about the Slab and how to read it.
On the bottom of one sheet, they credit the "Offical" book rating system.
