The problem isn't that you collect too many things...it's the way you catagorize your collections!
For example you tell us that you collect Sample Chips, Vegas Chips, Foreign Chips, Personal Chips, T Mold Chips, Modified Brass Core chips, Octagons, Houston Area Illegals, and Hot Stamps. That sounds like 9 collections. If you just say "I collect chips", your list is whittled right down! Now, don't you feel better?
Another example...my husband and I collect Nevada casino stuff. Just one thing .
Of course, our collection includes chips, matches, swizzle sticks, china, postcards, dice, decanters, phone books, napkins, letter openers, glassware, lighters, banks, slot glass, pantyhose, ashtrays, cards, chalkware, dealer ties, slot cards, room keys, coasters, tokens, sewing kits, fun books, brochures, menus, table layouts, photos, coin cups, pens, tape measures, keno tickets & crayons, a pocket knife, a keno ball, a peephold thingy...you get the idea!
(we don't actually collect card keys, slot cards or tokens...but we seem to have 'em anyway, and once I get something with a Nevada casino name on it...well, it becomes part of the collection! )
