Joe could you give more info on how they ended the race.

Obviously after the wreck there was some clean up. Did people in the stands know right away that he was killed or did everyone just figure that they were hurt bad? When did they finally tell the people in the stands and how did they announce it? How did people in the stands react? Give us some first hand input on these things if you don't mind.
