Electric Daisy Carnival is an annual electronic dance music festival held in the South West United States on the last weekend of June. The event was held in Southern California from 1997 to 2010, and was moved to Las Vegas in 2011.
In recent years, satellite events have been held in Orlando, Dallas, Puerto Rico and Colorado. Attendees are commonly dressed in neon "rave" attire.
In 2009, the festival was expanded to a two day event, which brought in 130,000 attendees. The Las Vegas event lasted 3 days in 2011,[1] attracting an estimated 70,000-75,000 people on Friday, 85,000 people on Saturday, and 63,000 people on Sunday,[2]
