when we were on vacation. The most unique card (and rules) came from Dini's Lucky Club in Yerington. The card is laminated, with a bar code on the back. You don't put the card in the machine, you just play, and if you hit a payoff of $50 or more you call the floor person over to get your card scanned. You can also get points for buying food at the restaurants!
While we were eating lunch, I remembered something about Jack Dempsey helping to lay a floor in a casino, and I was pretty sure this was the place. I asked our waitress, whose response was something like "Joe Dempsey?...ummmmmm, let me ask someone else" (uh, ask 'em about Jack Dempsey)! She asked a couple of other waitresses, who had pretty much the same response. I must be getting old . Checked out the website...yup, this was the place!
