I just received this e-mail from a collector, probably known to everyone on this board. This is ABSOLUTELY TRUE, not a joke, but is "almost" unbelieveable to me, and I'm living it. The content of his e-mail I am cpoying word for word. I am retyping it below, but withholding the name, to protect his privacy and avoid any possible embarrasment to him. His e-mail follows:

"Roger,

I received the Tahoe Village chip in last nights mail. My chip collection consists of chips that were used on the tables in the Lake Tahoe Casinos. This chip looks brand new and never used on the tables. I would like to return the chip and get my money back.

Please advise.

Signed, XXXXXX XXXXXX."

Now, Am I unduly shocked by this response? Is this pattern normal among chip collectors? The chip is very near mint, but certainly has seen some light use at the tables, which I assumed would be very pleasing to this person.

If anyone would like to reconfirm my sanity, I would appreciate it.
