Interesting fact on the chip history:
In 1994 Casino Windsor opened to the public. It was Ontario's first Las Vegas-style casino. The casino featured approximately 50,000 square feet/ 4,645 square metres of gaming space on three floors.

In 1995 the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation announced it will bring a riverboat to Windsor to be operated as a temporary casino on Windsor's riverfront. The riverboat casino was named "Northern Belle Casino." This second interim casino was deemed necessary to alleviate long line ups at Casino Windsor. In 1995 the Northern Belle Casino opened to the public. It was the first riverboat casino on the Great Lakes. The Northern Belle Casino closed in 1998.
