Yesterday the Canadian ChipGuide was migrated into the ChipGuide. Mike Behiel created the Canadian ChipGuide and was looking for someone to take it over. Arrangements were made with Mike to donate the Canadian ChipGuide to the Museum of Gaming History. Mike sent over his website and a program was written to extract the data from the website and place in the ChipGuide database. Now the Canadian ChipGuide will have access to all the features of the ChipGuide.

The program imported 212 casinos and about 1300 chips from the Canadian ChipGuide into the ChipGuide. The process is not perfect, and we will have a lot of clean up work to do, but it is good start. We have taken on two new administrators to handle the Canadian casinos on the ChipGuide. Once they are up to speed the Canadian casinos will look much the same as the U.S. casinos on the ChipGuide.
