What's really sad is that if this happened in any other place it would be a huge story and would be talked about for weeks. But, I predict everybody will shrug and say "Eh, it's Mexico. Happens all the time down there."

There were over 15,000 people killed in drug-related violence in Mexico last year and over 3,000 of them were in the city of Juarez, just across the border from El Paso, Texas. Ironically, during 2010 El Paso only had five murders.
