Here are some of the pics I took this afternoon of the newly re-opened Plaza Las Vegas. The only work that seems to have been done is the casino floor (i.e. the carpet and pillars and sections of the ceiling acoustical/decorative tiles.) Nothing has changed upstairs (bingo room/old lobby) They have guards to check your credentials before getting on any elevator, so no shots of the hallways on upper floors.
Outside, the changes are: new valet area paving and selected balconies edged in red (nice touch, I thought)
Obviously the renaming back to Union Plaza is a no go. There are several broken/cracked mirror panels along main that still need repair, and the 'G' of the Parking sign is missing, so the outside looks as if no renovation has occurred- hopefully this gets remedied very soon.
Feel free to save any pics you like for your personal use collection.
