I recall one year in the 1960's while I was attending a NJ Bell school in Newark, NJ at about the time the Federal Reserve Bank in New York was selling sealed bags of silver dollars to the public. One of my classmates told me that morning he was going over to New York after lunch to buy a bag and to tell the class instructor after lunch that he went home sick ... "must have been something he ate". The next day I saw my fellow classmate, I asked him how he made out. He was pissed! All the silver dollars were Peace Dollars, dated 1922 and later. Oh how he wishes he had them now!
