I switched to Mac about 5 years ago and absolutely love it. The decrease in virus/malware worries alone is practically worth the change all by itself. Beyond that, my favorite thing about the Mac is that in 5 years I've only had to upgrade the operating system once in order to run the latest and greatest programs, and that upgrade was $29. In my opinion, Macs are easier to use and have far fewer hiccups with software/upgrades/operating system functions. It's pretty funny for me because at work I use a PC, and while I will admit that Windows has improved a lot compared to 5 years ago, I still find myself consistently saying "this is much easier to do on my Mac" when trying to accomplish something on my PC at work. ---
