I got hold of two a couple nights ago after seeing the idea of buying them from a player. I had long since given up trying to get one from a table worker, but I saw two players next to each other that each had two in their stacks.

I asked the first one, who said he "needed them to play", then a minute later the other, who quickly accepted my $1 each offer saying louder than I would have liked "Why wouldn't I? they're only 25 cents!!!"

This attracted the attention of the table boss who gave me "the look". I gave the $2, palmed my chips, and headed straight for the nearest exit without looking if anyone was following me.

It is very clear that the Fremont does NOT want these chips leaving the tables.....
