Chip Name: HALLOWEEN 2005

Larry made the "HALLOWEEN 2005" chip because:
"This was the first of our personal chips ....
and as may be obvious one of Menina and my passions is the collecting Halloween chips.
We have a complete collection of all Halloween chips, tokens, and silver strikes as well as quite a few Halloween personal chips.
As we didn’t start collecting Halloween chips until around 2003 it took a number of years to track down chips from previous years.
Now it is just a matter of keeping up with new releases.

The artwork of our first personal chip is a crossover from one of my other pastimes, motorcycles.
The skull, flames, and barb wire was painted on both of the hard saddlebags of a Harley Roadking
I saw while visiting a custom paint shop outside of Chicago.
The eyes, nose and mouth were the brake lights and turn signals for the bike.
When Menina and I decided we wanted to use this artwork for a chip I re-visited the painter,
with a drawing of the chip and ask to use it.
He agreed and asked for a couple of chips."

Larry and Menina, no longer have this chip available.
These chips are very popular to collect and tough to get the entire series.

Is it me, or is that not one of the most interesting stories on the design of a personal chip ... very cool!
