"OOOOHHHHHMMMMMM" "OOOOHHHHHMMMMMM" On The Range!
They were on the tables for quite some time before the current set was produced. Maybe two years.
Before the blue chips with the wrong spelling, the casino had no $1 chips for some time. Well of course the previous owners set, (50s and 60s) but through the 90's Full House used tokens. The metal centers ($5 Mottled Orange/Black, $25 Pink/Blue) were removed from play in 1997 and the new set was put on the tables. The $100 was a different design, boring White paper inlay H&C. White? Yeah and one of the $1s was black, the other a grey color with green stripes. So much for standard colors!
They did and experiment with the 25c chip on the crap table. Then those were pulled. I'd guess the 25c is more "rare" but better identified as uncommon. The peach HSG 25c went away as a failure, and they didn't want to let them walk, because not many were made.
Oh and by the way, at about the same time as the same change of rack, Keno was removed along with the roulette table.
Haven't been to Elko since the Casino Express flights stopped. Maybe ten years now? It's on the list for the next trip out West.
