I rode in the Tour De Cure 2 years in a row raising over $1000 each year for American Diabetes. This year's ride was in North Jersey with lots of hills. I did the 100 mile ride and hit 40 MPH going down one hill ~ 64 KM and that was with using the breaks!

I watch bits and pieces of the Tour and it amazes me how good of shape they are in.

I'm planning on riding again in September in another Diabetes ride along the Jersey shore where it will be much flatter.
