Re: LV Sportsbook question

Voeckler certainly hung on to the yellow a lot longer I thought he would. Seems to me that the big boys underestimated him and thought they would suck him in easily. They came close to coming unstuck grin

I think Cavendish is at his peak, and one on one he is the fastest by some distance. I wouldnt be surprised if he wins the last stage quite easily. Dead flat race benefits him more than anyone. Look at last year when he didnt even have Renshaw after the DQ and he basically controlled the stage start to finish on his own.
No green jersey contenders will score tomorrow or Saturday because too many big boys have to go flat out. All Cav has to do tomorrow is stay with the dropped group like today. No DQ's if 20% or more of riders fail to meet the cutoff (I actually researched the rules during todays stage when I was getting nervous). So worst case Cav loses 20 pts tomorrow. A win in Paris is all he needs.

It beggars belief how that TV car was ever allowed to be anywhere near that position. I guess by merely banning the car, the organisers must have realised it was partly their fault it was there.

I also feel sorry for Wiggins who in 3rd place prior overnight, was actually 50/50 to take the jersey.
