Ok, so here is the deal. I have had someone contact me with this collage of casino memorabilia that he is looking to sell. The problem is that they are encased in a frame and I am unaware of how the items are mounted in it. The seller told me that he purchased the item around 25 years ago and he is unaware of how the items are held into place. My biggest fear is that the chips are either glued or taped on the back side and I have been told if it is a water based glue then the chips should be fine but I am just wondering if anyone has ever had any experiences trying to take something like this apart and what the out come was? Any suggestions? The seller lives about 85 miles from me so its kind of a long way to go if its just going to be a waste of my time. Thanks for any advice and I look forward to hearing your opinions. P.S. Worst case scenario the back sides of the chips are damaged. Would they have any value yet even with a bad side?
