Thank you for opening this subject and bringing it out into the open.
I could not agree with you more and have been in contact with various members of the BOD concerning same.
Another sore spot with me is the ruse of using and requestng payment through Paypal via the 'gift' option. People want the service but feel it ethical not to pay for same.
I have been informed by members of the BOD that they do not have the ability nor desire to moniter actions of individuals individualy or on boards other than the clubs official site to make any attempt to enforce the clubs Code of Ethics. Only if a member files an official complaint throught the proper channels will they look into same.
In one email I received the following is a cut and paste portion of a reply I received:
"Just as if one of our members makes a post for prosti1tut1on on craigs list, that is not something that the Club had the authority to monitor."
It appears the CC>CC Code of Ethics is limited to a very narrow arena with limited power to be concerned.
Call it 'harvesting' or 'preserving gaming history' or any other rationalization in my book theft is theft.
OK, my foot is in the sticky matter I just have not had the fortitude to open this can of worms by myself.
Wishing all enough,
