I was not expecting or advocating that you or any one individual post every chip or token issued in 2000 or every chip nominated. I was interested in anyones possible nominations to give all the readers of the board some additional options. Not everyone gets to see a majority of the chips. Seeing other chips may result in more candidates and more interest in nominating chips / voting. I see this as supporting the COTY / TOTY event and making it the best yet.
I do have an open mind. My interest right now is in finding good candidates for COTY / TOTY. It is not on picking the winner, campaigning for a particular chip or influencing other voters. So I will be looking for scans of chips here, in the Chipguide, on other web sites and in my personnel collection for all chips I think may be worthy of nomination. I just do not think this is the time to limit posting scans and suggestions of good candidates.
Thanks for your past and current work on COTY / TOTY. As before, I'm sure this will be a super event.
