I first saw this chip being used as a card capper by a woman who frequently played poker at The Orleans. She had it mounted in a gold bezel of some sort, and I often kidded her about keeping an eye on it as it might walk away when she was not watching.

When I asked her how she got it, she explained that they were given to out to card room dealers (she was a dealer at one time) as keepsakes/momentoes. I believe she lived in California and while my schedule of being at The Orleans playing poker was rather sporadic, over the pass several years I hardly ever saw her there.

Just before the Convention this year I did see her, but she was using something different as a card capper and I asked her where "my" chip was? She explained that while playing cards (somewhere other than The Orleans) someone took it while she had stepped away from the table.

So, that is why I asked you if you had one. For years I admired her chip and had hoped that she might let it go to me. So, I'm looking for one for me and one for her.

But I will be happy to add you to the list!
