Thanks for the date, James. That's different than the date ascribed to the chip in TCR.

Do you know for a fact that the chips were used on the tables? I've never seen one that wasn's uncirculated. Looks almost like a chip that was ordered in error, or to check out a new vendor, or for some other non-gaming reason.

'68 is about the time Howard Hughes bought the DI. Maybe he didn't like the color of the chip?
