The guy said he went to three banks and all of them said the bill was legitimate. I have a hard time believing a Canadian bank manager would say that. I think they guy is a scam artist and I'd be surprised if the passport he sent you was really his own.

I also don't like the way he claimed to have no money when you discussed him flying here. Next he would ask for you to wire money for the travel. Textbook.

Just my opinion (but I'm also a HUGE cynic).
