Sahara sale

Just got back from the Sahara liquidation sale. Arrived at about 9:10am and was behind about 500-750 people. The line sanked all around the front of the property and back toward the rear garage. Finally got in the door at about 11:15. Only 50 people at a time were allowed in. The group trhen had to pay and get into another holding area till all were ready to move on to listen to a 5 minute speel about how to buy the items and where they were located. After this was over, then another 50 were allowed in to repeat the procedure. By the time I left at about 12:30 the line was all the way back to Paradise Road at the rear of the property. They will make a bundle each day at $10 a head.

Camel lamps were the big seller at $150.00 with many, many going out the door. Of course they have many, many more. Only some old well worn roulette chips and some decks of cards at $3.00 ea. The chips were $2.00. BJ table at $850, crap table at $4500, concrete trash cans at $125. Almost nothing exists with the Sahara name on it as far as small items. You can wander around behind the scenes in the count rooms, kitchens, theatre back stage.

One tower has a few rooms open on one floor, another tower has two suites open, and the third tower has the penthouse suite open. Can not get to other hotel floors unless you know the back areas. Exec offices and other offices were not open. Loads of dishes and glasswear - again no logo items.
Monday starts a free admission, might only guess at the crowds then.
