Hello everyone,

This is my first post on these boards and I'm hoping seasoned chip collectors might have some advise for me. A friend of mine passed away and left me his entire chip collection. There is close to 3,000 $5 chips, about 100 $1 chips and many silver cast collectors chips from all over N. America and Puerto Rico. I was his gambling/travel companion however, I have no interest in chip collecting. So to get to my question, is there a reputable site where I can sell these chips, or should I just offer them as a lot to a dealer?

I'm confused and way in over my head. Most of the collection is in individual plastic liners and binders but I cannot make out any specific catalog order. Any adivse is good advise.
