As long as you set out your preferred method when you offer chips you should be fine - any problems usually come because posts are vague.

Personally, I would suggest saying either hang a 'sold' sign here or email, but you will either take the first one that arrives (and you have to check the times between emails and posts) if you have a fixed price or ask for offers by a certain time.

Also be clear about what payment methods you accept and what shipping charges are.

You should find that 99% of people who post on the chipboard are friendly and above board
