Yes the black box is the original filter I used on the small pond in the front yard. (Waaaaaaay oversized. That water was soooooo clear!) It is temporary until I can find a pressurizable one that I will put in the back and cover with rock. BTW - that is not PVC plastic but 45 mil EDPM (?) made special for ponds. It is a lot more like rubber than plastic.
