My guess is that it's because they just began showing up on eBay with the auctions that are currently running. I would also guess that dealers like Charles get approached pretty often by people offering rare chips in confidential offers.

In my opinion, it's not necessarily anybody else's business what he is offered for sale UNLESS he sees someone trying to take advantage of people by not disclosing the quantity of a "rare" chip that they know exists.
