I agree with you that slabbing is wrong for the hobby. I will choose for myself to not traffic in slabbed goods. I will deal with other people on individual merits, and not paint them with such a broad brush, that's all.

The harshness with which some people address this issue is wrong for the hobby too. I have found much of the bitter dialog distasteful, and have managed to stay out of it. But some people were inferring other peoples' motives and positions by whether or not they were "on the list." I thought long and hard about a reasoned response to this madness. I know I'm not about to change anybody else's thinking, I just wanted my friends to know where I stood.
