1. As everyone say's the great people in our club.
2. Collecting is fun, and if retired with time it keeps you busy while having as Steve P say's ACE = A COOL EXPERIENCE
3. Meet new people and as they say "get out there" expand your interests.
4. Inexpensive as you want. You can now buy old chips at face .25, .50 and 1.00 chips. Today great value.
5.History of gaming, learn something new. Interesting stories regarding our hobby are fun to read, educational, thru our great Mag. and conventions.
7. Great for the millions of people that go to casinos, and/or play poker. Bring home a little collectible, to remember your fun times.
8. Choice of collectibles, chips slot cards, SS,matches, menus, tokens, anything with a casino name on it. your choice.
9. Keeps the mind busy, and off our daily problems. Meet wonderful new people thru a great chip board.
10. Get lucky harvesting, maybe at that swap meet, garage sale, thrift shop, old town general store, you might find a little chip worth a lot more than you paid for it. The harvest is fun and sometimes profitable. Trading is fun, especially at our super conventions.

I could go on and on but this is a few starters. I've been in club 10 yrs and love the experience, I show off my collection with pride.
