I bought some 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 cardboard flips that require a method to seal them. Obviously the staple method is preferred and I see some staplers staple flat (clinch). I was wondering being fairly new to the hobby, how many of you prefer to use tape instead. Seems like an easy way to seal the flip with tape on the cardboard. Since I notice most being stapled there must be a reason as a small dispenser of tape if just as easy to carry as a small stapler.

Reason I am using this method is carrying my traders to the convention without the fear of them falling out of the pockets while in binders.
