Here is a scan of the Cape Giradeau T-Bird chip as it was attributed to me when I bought it. I knew of another style and the one you list may be it. What irks me most is the fact that this SMKEY chip has been listed in BOTH Nevada price guides as a Nevada chip for at least a year and NOW people decide to say it's NOT a Nevada chip! I'm not disputing their opinions, just the timing. Why weren't the authors of BOTH books told of the possible misrepresentation of the chip earlier? It is possible that the chip was used at BOTH locations as I've been told there are ties between the two....hey, it was the late 40's early 50's, you know what ties I'm talking about!! I've questioned the arrowdie T-Bird chip for years since that one also has no location on the chip yet I haven't heard anyone say that chip's NOT from Nevada.......maybe because it's an arrowdie?????
