all those who offered kind thoughts and prayers during my recent bout with lung cancer and surgery the 13th of December. I had just met with the surgeon during the afternoon of the 12th and surgery was set for 1st thing in the morning on the next day. My complete right lung has been removed yet I am breathing better and in general, feel better than I have for quite a few years, with exception to the discomfort of all the stiches and so on. I had been a smoker for about 40 years but had quit about one year prior to the discovery of a tumor in one of the airways which led to the finding of a mass in the lower lobe of my right lung.
I would also like to thank those that sent me private email, cards and phone calls to my home. It was most appreciated.
