unfortunately the club struggles with this same thing year after year.

After we have negotiated rated for our convention, the Host hotel (Or other hotels) come out offering special deals at lower rates.

The problem is, that the club relies on bookings thru the boom block for the future of our conventions.

It is important to the that our members book rooms thru the club block to live up to our requirements with the hotel which sets the pricing for our convention and meeting rooms. The total number also comes into play when its time to renegotiate for future years or even with other casinos.

While we do realize that price is a big factor when people choose a hotel for the convention, we urge our members to support the club thru the boom block if there is any way that they can.
