My wife was reading convention materials and noticed that pre-registration packets must be picked up between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the banquet. Here is my situation: Our plane arrives LV at 4:25 p.m. LV time -- that's well past the time to pickup packets for banquet, trading session etc. Non-refundable airline reservations were made once the convention dates were announced and the hotel was accepting reservations. Before I send in my request for banquet tickets, does anyone in charge have an answer of how this situation can be resolved. I can comply with all the convention registration rules but was not aware of the time guideline. Our plane leaves DFW at 3:40 p.m. and puts there in time for the banquet, but not in time for the packet pickup.
Am I the only one with this time crunch problem? This is my first convention and I am really looking forward to it.
