My first thought that it was destine for the Philippines, so I pulled out a book that I'm studying by Elizabeth Reyes and Chester Ong and looking at the wall art but do not see anything that size or shape.
For the past few years I've been collecting some vintage and contemporary furniture (furnishings) from the Phipippines that I find discarded in junk shops and have been lucky to find some Runo chairs, capiz and pina... and a few abaca lampshades, but it's the heavy wooden furniture I mostly seek... but only at bargain prices... I'm studying one chair now, and I see that Bill Clinton has one of the very few made. Last year I found a coco shell-tiled end table top and a huge diamond-beveled wooden frame from Cebu, which
I believe is either a Louisa de los Santos cration or a pretty close copy.
