...McCourt's troubles started with the divorce & are only getting worse. Not only for him, but for the entire family. The IRS is now investigating McCourt, his ex-wife & their children. Frank & Jamie as to why they "took $145 million from the team and paid no taxes." He will be lucky to have two nickels to rub together after the smoke clears. He deserves all the bad things that happen to him for using the Dodger organization as his personal bank account & letting it get to this point. I think he will be GONE as the owner of the Dodgers before spring training in 2012. Then he can go back to Boston with his tail between his legs.
I have never cared all that much for Selig, but he moved up a couple of notches as far as I am concerned with what he did yesterday. Most Dodger fans looked at this season as one where we were not going to go anywhere. With this it is like we won the NL West! It can only get a LOT better from here on out.
