~~~ years ago asking if I could move some silver tokens that were his share when he and other point holders decided to empty the vault the day before closing (selling the casino; which was held on the floor at a BJ table). After everything was explained to me by the previous owner; sizes of tokens, quantity, fineness; how encapsulated and visual appearance as the inventory was sitting on his kitchen table in Miami, I called Janice asking her a few questions regarding the fineness and how the larger tokens were encased -- and everything matched as was described to me when Janice explained everything (I knew very little about slot tokens back then). Silver was at a level far below what it was when the Hunt brothers did their gig, and very few collectors at the time were interested in handling the material over spot, so Mr. S. decided to just hold on to the inventory... I never heard from Mr. S. again... and when silver started to climb again, I've thought of all those tokens several times and how they could have been fetched at a decent price even if 25% over spot...
