On our last trip to Vegas, we stayed 1 night at Fitzgeralds, 3 nights at the Golden Nugget, and 3 nights at SouthPoint. I wasn't expecting much from the Fitz but honestly thats where we had the most fun. The rooms were older but clean and the one we had atleast had a huge wrap around window that took up almost a wall and a half. The staff was very friendly and the casino had an awesome atmosphere with people having fun all around and decent machines. The Golden Nugget is what you would expect. Nice rooms, nice casino, and an awesome swimming complex. The bad part about the Golden Nugget though IMO is that its to much like a strip property and when I had called and talked to a host they actually informed me that they consider themselves a strip property for how much $$$ you need to spend to get any comps. I really did enjoy my stay at both places but have to say the Southpoint was my favorite of the 3 just wish it was a little closer to the heart of the strip. Hope this helps. Dan R-8220
