these "get-togethers"...the BoD doesn't care. As you noted, Greg's "get-together" was never associated with the club...and that, too, is not a -endorsed or sponsored event. And maybe it's MY bad by ASSUMING that by "helping the club" that this meant that there would be some financial benefit for the club derived from it. It doesn't state that -- it just notes that it would "help the club" and you are correct, getting a bunch of people together to discuss the hobby is a good thing.
