~~~ even if one dime from the event doesn't makes it to the club... The thought and earnest intent is there, the members are there; and when the event goes down as planned it surely does help the club.

We can't look at the success of any function (organized function or even a simple trade of a chip by two members in passing in the hallway) having to have a monitary value.

The thought behind Bob's plan and his post, alone, outweights any monitary value realized... and that, in my opinion, is positive.

I'm simply looking at the big picture; the whole of our convention...
