Any money Bob donates to the Club after costs are paid helps the Club. In your scenario, anyone holding an auction or selling chips with a promise to donate proceeds to the Club would have to be admonished as well. I can't support that opinion.
The Lifers breakfast is a great way for those of us who have committed to the Club for life to get together and exchange ideas which might also help the Club. I think you are being a bit overprotective Steve. JMHO.
