This is very sad news indeed! There are only a few people that have been in the hobby a long time that I know, and look forward to seeing each year. Ralph was one of those guys. I met Ralph on my first trip to the convention. Much of my time was spent a Dale's and his table talking antique chips. I could tell he enjoyed sharing what he knew with a new collector. I guess I'm kind of a loner when it comes to these big events. I've never been to a Splash Bar or banquet but, that doesn't I don't look forward to coming out to Vegas and seeing people I've gotten to know, pick their brains, and treasure their knowledge. When people like Ralph quit the hobby we all loose a great deal. He will be missed.
