Re: my post here of a few days ago:

Having discussed this more fully with the BoD, other dealers and amongst ourselves, we decided it wasn't really in the best interests of anyone to hold a 'public sale' at that time, so that part of the event won't go ahead.
This will however still be a proper auction viewing session where you will be able to place bids or leave proxy's with me.
This is to facilitate the viewing requests from those concerned they may not have sufficient time to view on Thursday given that the auction has been brought forward to that day. I appreciate that the auction table may not be most people's first priority when entering the bourse at opening time.
With nearly 50 donated lots all starting at just $5, and some of the regular lots starting below $50 this year, there should be much more bidding interest.
There will still be refreshments as advertised and all members are welcome to drop by, view, bid, socialise etc. etc.
However you will need to contact me if you plan to come so i can provide you with the location nearer the time.
More details will be published when the auction catalog is published in May. In the meantime, if you are likely to be interested, keep free some time between probably 8.30 and 1.00 on the Tuesday night.
