I'm sure like yourself, Rich, I've been collecting for a while.
And very fortunate to have collected most of my chips in great condition.
Always looking to upgrade whenever possible, too.
I think condition for me has always been important because I've spent most of my adult life collecting and dealing in old American Indian artifacts (Baskets, Moccasins, Tommyhawks, Pottery, Navajo Blankets & Rugs, Plains Beadwork, etc.) and with that material condition has been so important, even crucial, when determining value (along with rarity). So I brought that mentality into my chip collecting as a natural extension of my "collecting insanity".
